YWCA Kirkcaldy

YWCA Kirkcaldy provides a platform for girls and women to have their voices heard and make a significant contribution in Kirkcaldy, Fife and beyond. As well as the programme of activites we offer in the centre, our Development Worker also works with groups of young women referred from Viewforth High School on topics such as body image, self esteem and confidence. Our Development Worker is currently developing more groups like this as well as more outreach work in the Kirkcaldy area to reach as many young women as possible. We also have volunteering opportunities available right now for girls and young women - contact us for more info!!

We are working in partnership with Adam Smith College, Fife Council Community Learning and Development, Fife Community Safety Partnership, Fife Women’s Network, Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn Community Forum's, Adult Education Local Planning Group, Youth Strategy Group, other voluntary organisations and local High Schools. Within these partnerships we are able to share ideas and resources for the benefit of the whole community.
