Call for Participants: Status of Young Women in Scotland 2016Written by The Young Women's Movement
Are you a young woman aged 16-30?
Would you like to tell us about what it’s like to be a young woman in Scotland and to share your experiences? You can take part by yourself or with friends.
We are working with the fantastic social researchers at The Lines Between to carry out research for our annual study into ‘The Status of Young Women in Scotland’ (SYWS). The 2015 research encompassed the views of a broad range of young women ages 16-30; this year our focus is on the views and experiences of young women who are often unheard.
We’re hoping to interview around 100 young women, to explore themes such as thoughts about gender equality issues, experiences of being treated differently, and positives changes that The Young Women’s Movement can help to bring forward.
Participation in the research is completely voluntary and anonymous – and the feedback so far from those who have taken part is that the discussions are fun and thought-provoking.
Be part of this original piece of research that explores the realities of life for young women in Scotland. If you’d like to find out more or take part in an interview or group discussion, please get in touch with researcher Elspeth via email@example.com.
