Film Project on Alcohol Awareness
Young people from YWCA Livingston and West Lothian Youth Action have worked together to plan and make a short film about the risks of substance misuse. The ten young people taking part in early 2011 gained skills in drama and editing as well as further knowledge about how alcohol use affects them, their peers and the community.
The completed DVD will be showcased in an event during the spring and disseminated to other groups of young people in the summer to help them gain more knowledge and make positive choices in their lives.
