Make a difference

We campaign to support policies that promote equal opportunities for women.

Our campaigning priorities are

RESPONDING TO CONSULTATIONS

Consultations give us the opportunity to influence policy and communicate directly with decision makers. YWCA Scotland has the opportunity to ensure that the voices for young women across Scotland are represented on issues that affect them by responding to Scottish Executive and other external consultations on issues that are of particular concern to young women.

Raising awareness with young women is a key element in our consultation process and can inform our single gender work programmes as those participating in the consultation may be inspired to learn more about the issues raised.

We track the progress of consultations we respond to and keep our membership updated on its progress and outcomes.
